Our guest speaker was Dr. Richard Hipp. A Charlotte resident and past LUG speaker, Dr. Hipp has developed many open source software solutions. Most notable is SQLite, the highly used, extremely fast, serverless SQL engine.
Kevin Jones drove in from Greenville, SC, and gave the group a great overview of his project - Free Linux PC.
